Dr. Ava Carter Appointed as Medical Director of Deakin Private Hospital

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ava Carter as the new Medical Director of Deakin Private Hospital.

Since joining the hospital, she has been a key figure in strengthening clinical operations, supporting the medical workforce, and contributing to the ongoing growth and stability of the services provided.  

In her new role as Medical Director, Dr. Carter will continue to provide medical leadership across the hospital, collaborating closely with the executive team, nursing, allied health, and medical staff to ensure robust clinical governance, patient safety, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Notably, Dr. Carter remains committed to her clinical practice and continues to see patients, balancing her leadership responsibilities with direct patient care.
