Nate's background has been in the Private Health sector for many years in acute surgical, critical care and quality improvement.
As the Quality and Risk Manager, Nate is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS) and the Healthcare Infection Control Management Resource (HICMR). Nate provides leadership, support, and training to all our staff and consumers.

Tegan joined the Deakin Private Hospital in April 2023. Tegan brings 8 years’ experience working in ACT public hospitals in various nursing specialties such as surgical, medical, geriatric care and community health.
Tegan holds a Bachelor of Nursing and business qualifications.
Binod Baral
Hospital Services Manager
Binod joined the Deakin Private Hospital in April 2023. Binod is a fully qualified Head Chef and brings more than 16 years’ experience of working within the food industry.
As the Hospital Services Manager, Binod oversees the operating of the Food Services Department encompassing key areas of patient meal distribution, kitchen production,
catering administration work and the management of staff.
